Receive · accounts payableSupplier sends a structured e-Invoice
In a connected supplier workflow, a sample AED 2,000 service invoice arrives with assumed standard-rated VAT of AED 100. The receiving team checks the supplier, purchase evidence, coding and approval before posting and scheduling payment.
Review before approval: legal entity, invoice reference, supply details, tax treatment, duplicate status and supporting documents. Xero says its UAE workflow can receive e-Invoices; the exact status and controls depend on the live account and provider setup.
Correct · credit noteResolve a price or quantity error
A sample invoice was sent with the wrong quantity. The team records the exception, follows the approved correction process and issues a credit note or replacement where required by the facts and system workflow.
Control: preserve the original record and reference the correction. Test the outbound document, status response, accounting entries and customer communication with your ASP before production.
